Jeevan Jyoti Hospital is a 210-Beds, CGHS Approved, NABH Accredited, ISO 2015 and NABH Medical Lab approved multi-speciality hospital in Prayagraj.

The hospital was founded in 1988 by renowned laparoscopic surgeon Late Dr A.K Bansal and eminent IVF expert Dr Vandana Bansal, with the vision and mission of providing top-of-the-line healthcare facilities under one roof.

Jeevan Jyoti Hospital started its journey with 20 beds, and within a few years the hospital acquired the status of a premier medical institution by extending its bed capacity and providing specialized and super specialized medical services to patients from Prayagraj and the neighbouring districts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. It is ideally located in the heart of the city in Rambagh locality.

In 1999 the hospital started a state-of-the-art IVF facility, called the Arpit Test Tube Baby Centre, for providing advanced infertility treatment to childless couples.

Arpit Test Tube Baby Centre now holds several records in this field. Under the leadership of the Bansals, Jeevan Jyoti Hospital is also credited for introducing and popularizing Laparoscopy in the region, (minimally invasive surgery) which offers minimum risk to patients.

Jeevan Jyoti Hospital is one of the few landmark hospitals in Prayagraj, which is enlisted by the government authorities for providing emergency care to patients at the time of the internationally famous Kumbh Mela, and the Magh Mela. The hospital has also bagged a very coveted place in the Guinness Book of World Records, for a difficult surgery in which 296 hydatid cysts were removed from the brain of a 10-year-old girl on April 13, 2011.

Jeevan Jyoti Hospital is now one of the leading centres of IVF and infertility treatment, advanced laparoscopy, cancer and bariatric surgery, hernia unit (treating all types of hernia patients with laparoscopic surgery), besides round-the-clock routine and emergency services by the super specialist doctors and trained staff, in all of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

It is also one of the few private sector hospitals in the region which has received the prestigious Kayakalp certificate by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, for adopting hygiene and infection control practices as per the guidelines of the ministry.

Jeevan Jyoti Hospital continues to maintain its charitable character in accordance to the wishes of its founders. Funds generated from the hospital services are partially utilized for providing free health care to the underprivileged people. Free health camps are ale organized under Ayushman Bharat Yojna.
